Ok, so I may not be the worlds best uber marketing guru (or maybe I actually am?), but I do know a money opportunity when I see it. And I saw it when I was watching the MTV show Jersey Shore. Now I know there is a lot of hoopla about how Italian Americans are portrayed on the show and I’ll let other blogs go on and on and on about that. Me I’m in it for the idea I saw inked on one of the cast members.
Pauly D AKA DJ (DJ Pauly D) has Cadillac tattooed on his right flank. His entire rib cage for the rest of his life is going to be an advertisement for a classic American brand. A brand that is best known for its older drivers along with a select SUV that is a favorite of rappers, actors and golfers. Cadillac and parent company General Motors are trying to make their brand more hip and cool. They have created the “V” line of performance. American cars that can compete with their German counterparts. They now have cool fast luxury cars to give them that cool edge?
What better way to bring your brand into the spotlight than to take advantage of this hip cool young show with this self-professed Guido. Word on the street is the chicks love him.
So hello GM- take advantage. Put him in your newest coolest car- watch millions follow- and make that cash guys!
