I saw the new Mustang and the new Z

In my drive today I saw two new hot coups.  First I saw beautiful peacock blue 2010 Ford Mustang GT Premium Coupe. Ford’s official name for the color is eye “Grabber blue”.  In my opinion  it looks identical to a lot like the BMW Laguna Seca blue. If  it wasn’t for the color and me staring ridiculously hard at the car cruising down the road on the other side of the street, I would have thought it was the old mustang. The design characteristics that made me sure it was the new mustang were three I’m sure Ford’s design team spent no expense refining. The new squinted headlights that look like the new Challenger’s lights. The gray plastic rocker panel that is a design element to make the car look more svelte much like today’s NASCAR race cars. Lastly the peacock (eye Grabber) blue that made it look just like the hot wheels mustang I have at home.

The changes are so subtle  that the average and even some above average car guys and girls wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. I saw a special on the car on the speed channel the car looks like a hoot to drive and maintains the instantly recognizable look of a mustang. I don’t think that car would be the one for me. If I had to pick I’d go for the 2008 bullet mustang or any of the Shelby GT 500 variants.

The changes are subtle but not as subtle as the mustang. It is clearly recognizable as a Z car but it has enough bulges, flairs, fangs and other design elements that make it stand out from its older and ever present brethren the 350z.

The beautiful refrigerator pearl white 370z with its snarled grill and high kick doors scream for attention. A proper coupe for driving fast and having fun.  I’ll take one in peacock blue!MYDAILYDRIVE.COM - BLUE NISSAN 370Z

Perfect!
