Man, that is one hot car. An amazing 4.2 liter v8 pumping 414 bph to Audi’s famed quattro four-wheel drive system. I even love the blue color, but, what kills me is the look and the price tag! For that kind of money you are getting up there, and the performance is nothing to gripe at, its one of the worlds best sports cars hands down, but it looks just like its daily driver sister, the A4.
For some, The Sleeper (Sleeper: a car that looks stock, and much like a lower horse power version, but has abundant power and factory performance modifications that make it run much faster then the lower performance models) look is a plus, the cops aren’t looking that hard at you, even the German sports car purest has no idea when he pulls up next to you in his Porsche 911 that you have a fire breathing V8 under the hood of what looks like a plane Jane A4 with some rims and flared fenders that will go toe to toe with his two door coupe.

Thing is for me, I look at it as a negative. I mean, I want my $70k+ road eater to, well… look the part. I wouldn’t want it to blend into the background. I mean it took the creation of the Audi r8 to build a car around such a phenomenal engine that would be breathtakingly beautiful, and then the price is twice and much. I guess that may have something to do with it.
Either way its a fun fast car and still rare, but has the right stuff. Is the age when a high performance version of a car looks so very similar to the lower end cousins in the family coming to an end? Unfortunately, I think not.
My solution!?
Add an enormous wing! like the Mitsubishi Evo IX, Porsche 911 turbo, Dodge Charger SRT-8, Nissan Nismo 370 Z, that will make it stand out!
