Every year in car land there are things you can count on, for owners its oil changes, gallons (and gallons) of gas purchased then burned, and for most, car payments. For car makers there are other constants. Every year a new model has to come out. Be it an update of last years with a light freshen up and sometimes a brand spanking new model. For Porsche this year it is the latter, a brand spanking new car. One that has had the interweb all a twitter for years now. The famed and fabled Panamera.

I do not want to go into a big ol diatribe about how feminine I think the Lexus brand is but… well, this is my blog and it is. The Lexus IS 250 & 350 are mostly a pretty and expensive Toyota. They are the least expensive of the Lexus fleet. The best selling IS-250 has an anemic horsepower rating of just 204 HP. Although Lexus claims its IS cars compete with the BMWs 3 series it just doesn’t add up. Even the lowest level of the 3 series line has 230 HP. Doesn’t sound like a serious match up to me. I got this quick snap of this black Maserati Quattroporte on 79th st in Miami. I usually over look Maserati’s 4 door as too common place to even mention on this blog. Yes they are all over the place around this town (Miami Dade) and Ft. Laurdadale, too. But when you think about it nationally, and realize this is a very rare, exotic car.
