For the past four years I’ve been attending the Sarasota Exotic Car Festival (formerly known as the Ferrari’s on St. Armand’s car show) held at the St. Armand’s Circle shopping center in Sarasota, Florida. This show marks the first event of the Ferrari Club of America (FCA) Florida Region’s calendar year. Every year since I’ve been attending it gets bigger and bigger. You can almost guarantee that there will be something pretty special on display at the show each and every year, like the very rare black Ferrari Enzo on display this year, which belongs to Sarasota’s own Steve White of SS Motorsports of Sarasota (http://www.carsbyss.com/).
With half a cup of coffee down my brain is starting to get into gear. All the random ideas that were floating around in my head now have direction. You could say the pace car has pulled off and we are about to go back to green flag blogging.

After ooogling Alex Roy’s car, having quick flashes of his book, and imagining racing down a highway in the middle of the US in the middle of the night with no headlights on at 145 mph I snapped back to reality.
I was as getting off the highway and saw this very cool Acura. This is a 2007 Acura TL Type-S- Acura’s attempt at a sports sedan. It looks sporty – quad exhaust and fancy wheels. The car also comes with a 286 BHP motor and F1 style paddle shifters. Not a bad car at all, but the fact that its front wheel drive will always keep it from truly being a sports sedan in my book.
