- Part two: the drive – Now this was our first time to an event like this so I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect. Was it going to be a parade of uber rare and racy exotics? Single file up the highway Rose Bowl parade style? Or, more of a free form sprinted drive of sorts? We were soon to find out. Our team leader had announced the time we were heading north. Shortly thereafter we had a sort of “drivers meeting”, no bump drafting was the word of the day

I spotted this electric 2006 Evo IX (9) in a parking lot in South Miami. I love this car! I’ve been a fan of the Evo ever since I learned what it was about. Probably back around the Fast and Furious sequel: 2 Fast 2 Furious back in 2003 (shot in Miami). The star car was a pretty goofy looking 4 door. Big wing, lime green, boxy and pretty mundane looking- even with the cool graphics and Eva Mendes in the passenger seat. I knew there had to be something to this car since it was the star car of the movie.

When I went to get my first copy of the new Fast and Furious movie I noted that the parking lot at Best Buy looked like a Fast and Furious car show. I’d have to say this Mitsubishi Evo X was the winner of the Prize! I’m sure its super fast check out that exhaust!
