Ok, so the 2009 Mercedes Benz SL 65 AMG Black Series is growing on me. I’m beginning to think the little car is fresh. The automatic deploying rear wing is super cool.

A little while back I told you guys I love me some Auto Trader: (www.AutoTraader.com). I mean where else can you go and dream shop for every car there is (except Spyker and Bugatti what’s up with that)? Ok, where was I. Yes… so I was thinking hmm… what’s the going price on a used boss little rocket called the 2008 Mercedes-Benz CLK 63 AMG Black series?  Since I had recently seen one in real life I wondered what they were going for.

I do not want to go into a big ol diatribe about how feminine I think the Lexus brand is but… well, this is my blog and it is. The Lexus IS 250 & 350 are mostly a pretty and expensive Toyota. They are the least expensive of the Lexus fleet. The best selling IS-250 has an anemic horsepower rating of just 204 HP. Although Lexus claims its IS cars compete with the BMWs 3 series it just doesn’t add up. Even the lowest level of the 3 series line has 230 HP. Doesn’t sound like a serious match up to me. When I think home improvement I think lumber, cement, paint, 2×4′s, power tools, dirt, and dry-wall. Things that are hard, heavy, sharp, messy, and dangerous! When I think about transporting those items from my home improvement store of choice to my casa I think Mercedes-Benz! Hold up?!… check it out…
