This past Saturday morning I made the 2 hour, slightly boring trip to Sanford, FL (basically outside Orlando) for the Orlando Automotive Club’s monthly Cars & Cafe meet at The Route 46 Entertainment District. This is the third C&C meet I’ve been to so far and they all have been great. It’s always nice to see some familiar faces and get the opportunity to meet some new ones. - The Event – The Super Car Experience Car Show.
After the exhilarating ride up to West Palm Beach it was time for the show. We parked, walked up to the side entrance and got our media credentials. Meanwhile all of the cars that were on the drive up with us were actually in the car show, they were in a different area checking in.
We didn’t know it at the time, but we had a rolling preview of what was to come.
In the world of cars there are all kinds of elements to get your butt in the seat. Performance numbers, paint colors, interior options out the wazoo just for starters.
But without adequate TV commercials I don’t think any of us would become as passionate about cars as we do. Its one thing to read about a vehicle, but its a whole other story to see the car of your dreams moving – zooming around a track, drifting around a wet corner, exciting almost all of your senses.
Making you think: I need that car! Even if you don’t.
After a crazy action packed weekend of taking photos with my super magnificent iPhone 3Gs all 16 gigs were full! Filled with music, photos, videos, apps and, oh yes, more photos.
