After this month’s Cars & Coffee, hosted by our good friends at Ferrari-Maserati of Fort Lauderdale, we were all treated to a private viewing of Mr. Preston Henn’s amazing collection of rare automobiles at the Swap Shop. We enjoyed a fantastic spread and drinks at the dealership, chatted for a few hours with some great people, and then fired up the cars for our run down I-95. When Champion Motorsport, a well known aftermarket automotive parts and tuning company, announced on several online message boards that they will be hosting a free track session at Palm Beach International Raceway (PBIR) in Jupiter, Florida, the reception was massive. This was Champion’s way of thanking all of their loyal customers and a way to give back to everyone who has supported them. On Saturday October 2nd, 2010 I made the drive out to Sebring International Raceway to attend a trackday held by the National Auto Sport Association, or NASA for short. I’ve been to Sebring once before and I had a great time shooting, so when I found out about another trackday that fit into my schedule I couldn’t pass it up. Trackdays like these are typically free for spectators and you get full access to the pits, which can be pretty cool.
