This past Saturday in South Florida was HOT! But hey, nothing like a fantastic event featuring amazing cars and cool people to make going out in the searing heat worth while. Bright and early Saturday morning was the monthly homage to all things car, Cars and Coffee  at Ferrari-Maserati of Fort Lauderdale. This gathering was unlike any other Cars and Coffee that I’ve been to.

This past Saturday morning I made the 2 hour, slightly boring trip to Sanford, FL (basically outside Orlando) for the Orlando Automotive Club’s monthly Cars & Cafe meet at The Route 46 Entertainment District. This is the third C&C meet I’ve been to so far and they all have been great. It’s always nice to see some familiar faces and get the opportunity to meet some new ones. The awesome crew at My Daily Drive had exclusive access to the 2010 St. Pete Festivals of Speed Jet Port Reception Party on Friday April 9th, 2010.  We loaded up the gear and headed to beautiful St. Petersburg, Florida not really knowing what to expect when we got there. The party was held in an airport hangar right across the street from MacDill Air Force Base. Getting out of the car we noticed huge big-rigs from Ferrari of Central Florida and some other exotic transports. Top of the mornin to ya! This St Patty’s Day got me thinking, What in the world am I going to talk about in reference to cars. I mean, last time I checked, Dublin didn’t have a new V12 5000 HP super car coming out, and green beer doesn’t necessarily go with cars. What I came up was this: My favorite green cars! Now, green cars may not be as good as green beer, but hey, its what I got. (btw when I say green I mean paint not low emissions)
