By now I’ve realized that without fail something pretty amazing will show up at the monthly Orlando Cars & Café hosted by the Orlando Automotive Club and our good friends at Café Motorsport. The very first time I made the trip to O-Town I got to see the not-yet-on-sale Spyker Aileron, which was only the second time it was in the U.S. Back in May I got to see a Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R for the first time in person. That one was special because I have an unconditional love for all things Skyline. This time, however, even I couldn’t believe what showed up. For the first time in the [...]

Man, I do love my orange cars! When I see one coming I think ” this is going to be something special” and it usually is. With the unmistakable face of a Porsche, you know its going to be a limited track tuned mini monster. That’s exactly what it was.
Cruising down US 1 on a bright sunny afternoon I saw just that, a dot of German flair screaming for attention. At first it was far away so I could only guess which Porsche it was. I was thinking 911 GT3 RS as it was the first of the P cars to get the “orange all over” treatment back in 2006.

So, while cruising the interweb I came across this bad-ass modded Nissan GT-R. All the work done by Ron and the guys at Autowerks. They are still in the process of getting the car finished but from what I see- its going to be killer. Yes, I have a soft spot for orange Nissan GT-Rs!

But- the thing that got me about this car is the licence plate!!
Man, it had me rolling!!!!!

Had to share.
This tuner shop has the goods to bring an amazing car even further up the ladder to super duper car. They are also quite funny!

So what do you buy the woman who has it all?
A pink Porshe Cayenne SUV, duh!
Yep, that’s what Nick Cannon got his (cougar) wife songstress Mariah Carey for her 40th birthday. Wow 40! Oh how time flies, yep, I remember it like it was yesterday when she was putting out hits with the late great Old Dirty Bastard, now she’s the old… let me not go there.

So for all of you who wondered what a pink Cayenne would look like , enjoy or cringe to your hearts content! Thanks Nick.

I guess as a youth, I was also a fan of the arena style truck racing that was going on in the 80’s. Ivan “Iron Man” Stewart and Steve Millen driving like crazy over jumps, bumps, whoops, and even some tabletops, in arenas all around the US.
At the time there was even a popular arcade game called; Ivan “Ironman” Stewart’s Super Off-Road, which gave a taste of the action to little boys like [...]

Top of the mornin to ya!
This St Patty’s Day got me thinking, What in the world am I going to talk about in reference to cars. I mean, last time I checked, Dublin didn’t have a new V12 5000 HP super car coming out, and green beer doesn’t necessarily go with cars. What I came up was this: My favorite green cars! Now, green cars may not be as good as green beer, but hey, its what I got. (btw when I say green I mean paint not low emissions)
First on the list of fave green cars is this Lamborghini Murciélago (pictured above) that I shot at the Palm [...]

- The Event – The Super Car Experience Car Show.
After the exhilarating ride up to West Palm Beach it was time for the show. We parked, walked up to the side entrance and got our media credentials. Meanwhile all of the cars that were on the drive up with us were actually in the car show, they were in a different area checking in.
We didn’t know it at the time, but we had a rolling preview of what was to come. As for the show- it was very cool if not a bit overwhelming. A remarkable mix of cars, from super to exotic, ground touring cars and even American muscle- [...]

- Part two: the drive -
Now this was our first time to an event like this so I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect. Was it going to be a parade of uber rare and racy exotics? Single file up the highway Rose Bowl parade style? Or, more of a free form sprinted drive of sorts? We were soon to find out. Our team leader had announced the time we were heading north. Shortly thereafter we had a sort of “drivers meeting”, no bump drafting was the word of the day, ok, it wasn’t, but I gather that’s implied. Basically, we were all told to “behave” on the road.
