So, while cruising the interweb I came across this bad-ass modded Nissan GT-R. All the work done by Ron and the guys at Autowerks. They are still in the process of getting the car finished but from what I see- its going to be killer. Yes, I have a soft spot for orange Nissan GT-Rs! But- the thing that got me about this car is the licence plate!! Man, it had me rolling!!!!! Had to share. This tuner shop has the goods to bring an amazing car even further up the ladder to super duper car. They are also quite funny!

- Part two: the drive - Now this was our first time to an event like this so I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect. Was it going to be a parade of uber rare and racy exotics? Single file up the highway Rose Bowl parade style? Or, more of a free form sprinted drive of sorts? We were soon to find out. Our team leader had announced the time we were heading north. Shortly thereafter we had a sort of “drivers meeting”, no bump drafting was the word of the day, ok, it wasn’t, but I gather that’s implied. Basically, we were all told to “behave” on the road.
- Part one: The meet up at Lamborghini of Miami - My friend and fellow MyDailyDrive.com writer Peter said to me last fall; “super car weekend is awesome you can’t miss it. More super cars in one place than you can see anywhere else! Every thing from a Jaguar XJ 220 to a Ferrari FXX.” You know what? He was right on the money. The name has been changed from “Super Car Weekend” to the “Super Car Experience”. The founders of the event realized they have more then two full days of events. From a media day on Wednesday, to a track night on Friday and the big show on [...]

Quick rant! So the for all of time – or as long as I have been paying attention- there has been a tuner battle between the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution “Evo” and the Suburu Impreza WRX STI. Both are Japanese produced famly cars on steroids. Beefed up with big turbos, big red breaks, and big bad body styling that brings a smile to boys of all ages. The ultimate goal in this extra macho machinery is to create the ultimate vehicle for rally racing- something that Europeans do. More or less its diving like a bat outta hell as fast as you can on sometimes dirt, sometimes snow, sometimes public roads. [...]

I spotted this electric 2006 Evo IX (9) in a parking lot in South Miami. I love this car! I’ve been a fan of the Evo ever since I learned what it was about. Probably back around the Fast and Furious sequel: 2 Fast 2 Furious back in 2003 (shot in Miami). The star car was a pretty goofy looking 4 door. Big wing, lime green, boxy and pretty mundane looking- even with the cool graphics and Eva Mendes in the passenger seat. I knew there had to be something to this car since it was the star car of the movie. I did some research and came across this [...]

I’ve been seeing a lot of Maseratis around South Florida in my daily drives. The four door Quattroporte is every where. Now I’m seeing even more of Maserati’s two door coupe the GranTurismo. I got these shots of a 2009 Maserati GranTurismo in Miami over the weekend. The Maserati GranTurismo is arguably the most beautiful new car on the road. Maserati is not stopping with producing just the sexiest car on the road but adding a topless version. Mmm topless… As we all know sexy + topless is a winning combination. IE: the famed South Beach, which we South Floridians all know is topless … oh, you didn’t know that.
