I had to start photographing and writing about the things that I see on the road because people wouldn’t believe it if I didn’t have proof. I mean check this out. This fine people mover has the wrong kind of A/C.
Yes, thats a home air conditioning system craftily attached to this back of van, truck, bus thing. Take a moment to view the craftsmanship. Check out how they hacked out the hole for the A/C unit. Last night I saw the strangest thing. I was getting on to the highway after work, and as I’m merging onto I95 south in Miami, I check my mirror and see a little car whiz by.
I’m thinking, “What the hell was that?!” Then zoom another car goes by. In 1/10th of a second I put it all together, but my brain was still going– what in the world did I just see?!

SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) — Police have arrested a woman who was driven to steal an emergency vehicle.
Police arrested 48-year-old Karen Annette Taylor Wednesday (8/26/09) morning after they surrounded the stolen ambulance with police cruisers in Southwest Miami-Dade.
Police said she took the vehicle while Florida Medi-Van employees picked up a patient, just before 11 a.m., at the Vita Dialysis center, located at 3280 Ponce de Leon Blvd. in Coral Gables. “Drivers of Medi-Van went inside the unit to get the patient. They took about three or four minutes. They came back out, and the van was gone,” said an unidentified employee at the dialysis center.
