I had a few days off work so I figured it would be nice to go home and spend some time with my parents over the weekend. Home, as you probably know by now, is in Sarasota, Florida. Every year in car land there are things you can count on, for owners its oil changes, gallons (and gallons) of gas purchased then burned, and for most, car payments. For car makers there are other constants. Every year a new model has to come out. Be it an update of last years with a light freshen up and sometimes a brand spanking new model.
For Porsche this year it is the latter, a brand spanking new car. One that has had the interweb all a twitter for years now. The famed and fabled Panamera.

So, my good friend is looking for a new car and he’s asked me to help!
He is looking for something fun and new after a good while in an SUV. I haven’t gotten all the parameters yet about when the shopping can commence but I’ve already started.

Quick rant!
So the for all of time – or as long as I have been paying attention- there has been a tuner battle between the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution “Evo” and the Suburu Impreza WRX STI. Both are Japanese produced famly cars on steroids. Beefed up with big turbos, big red breaks, and big bad body styling that brings a smile to boys of all ages. The ultimate goal in this extra macho machinery is to create the ultimate vehicle for rally racing- something that Europeans do. More or less its diving like a bat outta hell as fast as you can on sometimes dirt,
