This past Saturday in South Florida was HOT! But hey, nothing like a fantastic event featuring amazing cars and cool people to make going out in the searing heat worth while. Bright and early Saturday morning was the monthly homage to all things car, Cars and Coffee  at Ferrari-Maserati of Fort Lauderdale. This gathering was unlike any other Cars and Coffee that I’ve been to.

This past Saturday morning I made the 2 hour, slightly boring trip to Sanford, FL (basically outside Orlando) for the Orlando Automotive Club’s monthly Cars & Cafe meet at The Route 46 Entertainment District. This is the third C&C meet I’ve been to so far and they all have been great. It’s always nice to see some familiar faces and get the opportunity to meet some new ones. - The Event –  The Super Car Experience Car Show. After the exhilarating ride up to West Palm Beach it was time for the show. We parked, walked up to the side entrance and got our media credentials. Meanwhile all of the cars that were on the drive up with us were actually in the car show, they were in a different area checking in. We didn’t know it at the time, but we had a rolling preview of what was to come. 

I had a few days off work so I figured it would be nice to go home and spend some time with my parents over the weekend. Home, as you probably know by now, is in Sarasota, Florida. I love going home for a few days and just relaxing. I’ll usually take a drive or two down to the beach and cruise around by the water.
