On Saturday October 2nd, 2010 I made the drive out to Sebring International Raceway to attend a trackday held by the National Auto Sport Association, or NASA for short. I’ve been to Sebring once before and I had a great time shooting, so when I found out about another trackday that fit into my schedule I couldn’t pass it up. Trackdays like these are typically free for spectators and you get full access to the pits, which can be pretty cool. I spent about 5 hours shooting, all by myself, and probably walked a few miles in and around the track under the beating sun and 90 degree Florida heat. [...]

This past Saturday in South Florida was HOT! But hey, nothing like a fantastic event featuring amazing cars and cool people to make going out in the searing heat worth while.
Bright and early Saturday morning was the monthly homage to all things car, Cars and Coffee at Ferrari-Maserati of Fort Lauderdale. This gathering was unlike any other Cars and Coffee that I’ve been to.

The C&C events at FMFL have been dwindling in the number of cars for the past few months. This past Saturday’s event changed all of that. Thanks to MyDailyDrive.com writer and photographer Peter Tromboni and his social media savvyness. He initially was going to set up some [...]

This past Saturday morning I made the 2 hour, slightly boring trip to Sanford, FL (basically outside Orlando) for the Orlando Automotive Club’s monthly Cars & Cafe meet at The Route 46 Entertainment District. This is the third C&C meet I’ve been to so far and they all have been great. It’s always nice to see some familiar faces and get the opportunity to meet some new ones. Our good friends at Cafe Motorsport were there as usual giving out some amazing samples of their newest flavors of coffee. Most of the cars that were there are regulars, but a few surprises always seem to pop up every so often. Most [...]

- The Event – The Super Car Experience Car Show.
After the exhilarating ride up to West Palm Beach it was time for the show. We parked, walked up to the side entrance and got our media credentials. Meanwhile all of the cars that were on the drive up with us were actually in the car show, they were in a different area checking in.
We didn’t know it at the time, but we had a rolling preview of what was to come. As for the show- it was very cool if not a bit overwhelming. A remarkable mix of cars, from super to exotic, ground touring cars and even American muscle- [...]

Quick rant!
So the for all of time – or as long as I have been paying attention- there has been a tuner battle between the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution “Evo” and the Suburu Impreza WRX STI. Both are Japanese produced famly cars on steroids. Beefed up with big turbos, big red breaks, and big bad body styling that brings a smile to boys of all ages. The ultimate goal in this extra macho machinery is to create the ultimate vehicle for rally racing- something that Europeans do. More or less its diving like a bat outta hell as fast as you can on sometimes dirt, sometimes snow, sometimes public roads.

Hey, the kids are going back to school. The parents are so happy. For some this is the most wonderful time of the year.
For others its back to the daily torture that is school. Some kids just don’t appreciate the wonders of learning.
This happy car owner asks for a call to action! They are clearly proud of their pending potential graduation. I took these shots back in June and thought they would be fabulous back to school photos to share. South Florida youth at their best…

I was on Twitter and saw a tweet from a brand I know: Strut, the world famous maker of cool car accents. They were tweeting that they have some brand new auto “show” to match with the “go” for your ride.
After some emails and tweeting my new friend Simon he sent me these fresh off the press photos. The shots show off the new strut parts for the Dodge Challenger and the Chevy Camaro. Their spicy chrome accents undeniably add uniqueness and flair to both of these already eye catching rides.

Each strut part is hand crafted and built with the attention to detail normally given to jewelry for your hand, [...]

Apollo Sport breaks road car record with a 7m11.57s lap time around the Nürburgring-Nordschleife track.

Porsche GT2? Get lost. Godzilla(Nissan GT-R)? Scram. Corvette ZR1? Take a hike. Dodge Viper ACR? Nothing but a big sissy. There’s a new sheriff in Nordschleifeland and its name is Apollo, Gumpert Apollo. Actually, the proper name is Gumpert Apollo Sport, and on August 13, one piloted by a 26-year-old named Florian Gruber ran around the Nurburgring in 7:11:57, shattering all the other production car “records” by eleven seconds or more. Dang, right?

What makes the Apollo sport so fraggin’ fast you ask? How does a 700-hp, twin-turbo’d Audi 4.2-liter FSI V8 strike you? Makes a bit [...]

Check out this Chevy Camaro SS in Cyber Gray Metallic!
Don’t forget that the SS means it comes with the 422 HP LS3 V8 motor and 6 speed manual transmission.
Four-wheel disc brake systems are standard on all models, including four-piston Brembo calipers.

It almost looks like this soupped up version of the Camaro done by Hennessey.

See you didn’t know about that did you!? Now you want one… don’t act like you don’t ! You know you do!
