Quick rant!
So the for all of time – or as long as I have been paying attention- there has been a tuner battle between the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution “Evo” and the Suburu Impreza WRX STI. Both are Japanese produced famly cars on steroids. Beefed up with big turbos, big red breaks, and big bad body styling that brings a smile to boys of all ages. The ultimate goal in this extra macho machinery is to create the ultimate vehicle for rally racing- something that Europeans do. More or less its diving like a bat outta hell as fast as you can on sometimes dirt,

Caught these quick pix for the an Audi R8 FSI. This 425 Hp  Mid-engine V8 super car is poetry in motion and is even poetry standing still.
This car is just magnificent. A mix of Italian style and German performance, or is it the other way around, either way it rocks. Both J2 and I  love the color. When she goes she goes- and fast! The performance figures are impressive: the R8 accelerates from a standstill to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 187 mph.

Not to long ago you could get your sports car in only two varieties. You could have either the spyder aka soft top convertible, or the hard top coupe.  The convertible was for the masses who want the sun shining in on them. They want the accolades, the thumbs up’s, the tanning while driving and all that good stuff.
