Caught these quick pix for the an Audi R8 FSI. This 425 Hp Mid-engine V8 super car is poetry in motion and is even poetry standing still.
This car is just magnificent. A mix of Italian style and German performance, or is it the other way around, either way it rocks. Both J2 and I love the color. When she goes she goes- and fast! The performance figures are impressive: the R8 accelerates from a standstill to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 187 mph.
Interesting that Audi has just released the new model of the Audi r8 with a version of the Lamborghini v10. The car is 75k more and 100 hp more powerful.
And, it makes all the guys who went out and got the R8 Audi when it was new for the bargain basement price of 125k look like suckers. But, hey, progress is a bitch. What owners of the first run of this magnificent Audi R8 get is the Hennessy Performance R700 Twin turbo kit for a 700 HP upgrade! A 700 HP R8 now that would be huge!
