I’ve been seeing a lot of Maseratis around South Florida in my daily drives. The four door Quattroporte is every where. Now I’m seeing even more of Maserati’s two door coupe the GranTurismo. I got these shots of a 2009 Maserati GranTurismo in Miami over the weekend.
The Maserati GranTurismo is arguably the most beautiful new car on the road. Maserati is not stopping with producing just the sexiest car on the road but adding a topless version. Mmm topless…
As we all know sexy + topless is a winning combination. IE: the famed South Beach, which we South Floridians all know is topless … oh, you didn’t know that. Well, you’re very welcome for that tidbit of information.
In Miami people can’t get enough of their convertibles. Even though its as hot as the turbo on a 18 year old kid’s new Evo outside. You can’t run with your top down till the sun goes below the horizon. Unless your a masochist, or have a hat.
It looks like the people over at the home base for Maserati also got the memo about how hot and sexy Miami is. It appears that they did the photo shoot of there newest car car right here in the 305. That’s Miami’s downtown skyline off in the far background.
This new version of the Gran Turismo shares the coupe’s Pininfarina styling and seating for four. Maserati says the car is a soft top. I’m sure as to not compete with its sister car the Ferrari California. They use the same overall platform and similar styling though the California has a convertible hard top.
The new GranCabrio gets the 433-horsepower, 4.7-liter V-8 engine from the up level GranTurismo S. This new automotive tanning bed will debut on September 15 at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
